Participants are expected to be able to:
  • Appreciate recent advances and practical aspects of diabetes care, especially in relation to prevention, early diagnosis and optimal management of diabetic complications.
  • Apply knowledge gained during the “Diabetes Complications” Conference & Grand Rounds to further improve care for persons with diabetes in the community.

This year's conference (DCOM 2018) is held at The Waterfront Hotel in Kuching, Sarawak. It is also the first time that DCOM is conducted back to back to our main conference - the Diabetes Asia Conference (DAC 2018), to be held from 26th to 29th July 2018 at the iconic Borneo Convention Centre (BCCK).

Looking forward to welcoming all delegates to Kuching, Sarawak. While attending the conference, delegates may also want to explore the exotic flora and fauna of Sarawak, on this "mysterious" island of Borneo.

See you in Kuching!

Emeritus Professor Dato' Dr Mustaffa Embong
Chairman, Organizing Committee, DCOM 2018
National Diabetes Institute.
